This project was apart of a collaboration between Florida State College at Jacksonville and the U.S. State Department. As a class we worked with the Offices of American Spaces to come up with design options for the America 250 Hero project. This campaign was intended to celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. through the voices of  American heroes. We were tasked to create graphics that could be shown in different Offices of American Spaces around the world. Our class was split into groups that each focused on a different hero and style. My groups hero was Aretha Franklin and our original style was based around vintage concert posters. Towards the middle of the semester the class voted to narrow down the styles we would be working in for the final presentations. My groups style was unfortunately not chosen so we pivoted to a newly chosen style, which was collage style. For the Final presentation, I submitted a small poster design, large poster design, and a social media format motion graphic.
